Dr. Arata received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Arata and completed radiology training at Duke University Medical Center. He later went on to complete a fellowship in vascular / interventional radiology at The University of Pennsylvania. For the past six years Dr. Arata has been in the private practice of Interventional Radiology on both the East and West Coasts.

Dr. Arata is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Heart Association, the Radiological Society of North America and numerous other specialty organizations. He has published and presented many works in his area of expertise. Dr. Arata provides exceptional skills for patient care in the growing and highly specialized practice of Interventional Radiology.
